How To Improve Your Recovery and Avoid Running Injuries
Whether you’re just starting your journey with the Couch to 5k or are on the next step and looking at half marathons, marathons or my favourite Obstacle Course Races, this workshop will help you to improve your recovery and avoid running injuries.
If you suffer from aches, pains and DOMS (delayed onset muscular soreness), keep picking up running injuries or worried about lower back pain, runners knees, shin splints or plantar fasciitis we will help you.
At the session we will cover:
- Different stretches so you'll feel more flexible
- How to foam roll correctly so you know exactly what to do with it
- Trigger point therapy so you know how to apply targeted pressure to release your muscles
- Self massage techniques to relieve aches and pains in your muscles when you have a knot or area of tension
